You can create folders in your mailbox to store and sort messages and keep your mailbox clean. You do have a quota (40 Mb) on the space that you can use on the FirstClass server so you will have to delete old unimportant email. You should archive important email to your computer's local hard drive.

Using The Web Based FirstClass Client
You can still connect to the school even if you travel or have to use a different computer. As long as you have access to a web browser, such as Internet Explorer (and the Internet, you can connect to the school. You will have access to your classes, mail, and even chat. We recommend that you do not use it on a regular basis since it is much more time consuming than using the FirstClass Client.
Web based access is a good way to check the status of the school if you cannot connect using the FirstClass Client. If you cannot connect to the school using the client but can with the web browser then something is not set correcting in the client.

If this is your first time viewing the tutorial we would suggest that you view the videos in the order listed. There are slight variations in the software depending on whether you are using a Windows or Macintosh platform. It is not necessary to view the videos that do not pertain to the platform that you are using.
Please set aside a day or two (or three) to step through these modules. Expect a large learning curve at the beginning of the program (in other words, be prepared to be frustrated and "edgy" about all this online stuff!). But hang in there! Many have gone before and successfully trod the path that lies before you!!! The goal of this NSAC 101 Tutorial is to take the edge off of that learning curve and to make your first steps into NSAC as easy and trouble-free as possible. We do not expect you to remember everything in the videos by watching them once. Be sure to come back to the tutorial and jump to a specific link when you need to.
