• Patterns and Relations – arithmetic and geometric growth, functions, relations, arithmetic sequences.
• Shape and Space – volume, surface area, right triangles, sine and cosine laws, coordinate geometry, tools used for measurement.
• Statistics and Probability – sampling techniques and inferences, decision-making problems

The Applied Mathematics 10 Course is an introductory course designed to present mathematics as a relative and essential tool for every day life. The approaches used in this program stream are primarily data driven, using numerical and geometrical problem-solving techniques.
