  1. With the Independent program, you use our teacher developed lessons and test .You direct the and mark the material.

  2. With the Independent Program, you would use the books that out teachers have picked to develop the lessons around.

  3. In NorthStar Academy, we have online lessons that are developed and marked by teachers. The parent’s responsibility is to supervise the student.

  4. In NorthStar Academy the teacher is a foundational part of the school. There is communication, teaching and marking done. The teacher and student interact. NorthStar Academy is an online Christian School.

  5. In our Independent Home Program, students meet the outcomes set by Alberta Education and thus earn high school credits.
